Tammie Joe (TJ), the owner and operator of TJ's Needleworks LLC with 30+ years of experience in sewing. I started my company TJs Needleworks LLC in 2025, where I moved from a passionate hobbyist to a business owner.

 

Since then, I’ve expanded from quilting and memory bears to include custom embroidery, specializing in outline portraits and love notes.  Recently, we have also added DTF (Direct to Film) options as well.

In my current role as owner and operator of TJ's needle works is to run the longarm quilting machine, the embroidery machine, and sew custom pieces such as memory bears and pillows.

 

My expertise includes custom quilting, free motion quilting, laser work quilting, ruler work and hand guided pantographs. 

 

For bears and pillows my focus is to take clothing items that are beloved and turn them into tangible, huggable items for loved ones to cherish for years to come.   

 

While custom embroidery and DTF are new to the list of services offered, I enjoy taking photographs from loved ones and turning them into custom art pieces that honor the subjects. 

 

I’ve earned three degrees in my lifetime, an Associate's in business, a Bachelor's degree in Zoology and a Master's in Criminal Justice.
